Important Information

Please carefully note the following information before sending or delivering any items for recycling to a collection point or to Recycle4God.

Mobile PhonesMobile Phones

  • Phones that are older than 5 years or so are probably not of any value for recycling. Check with Recycle4God first.
  • Phones that are heavy are probably old, and again are probably of little value. Check first.
  • Phones must be in good working order and physically undamaged.
  • Do not send SIM cards with your phones. These may contain personal and confidential information.
  • Make sure that the phones are complete with their battery. Without that they are of no value. It is not necessary to have chargers, cables etc. with the phone, but if they are available still, please recycle them too.
  • If posting phones to the Recycle4God Freepost address, please package them securely - for example, in a Jiffy Bag.

Inkjet CartridgesInkjet Cartridges

  • Check the list of products that we can recyle or contact Recycle4God first if you are in any doubt as to whether your particular item(s) are acceptable under this scheme.
  • Ink cartdridges that are not the printer manufacturer's own brand, but are described for example as "compatible" or "replacement", cannot be accepted under this scheme.
  • Damaged cartidges cannot be recycled. The cartridge itself and especially the electrical connections, must not be damaged in any way.
  • If you are posting ink cartridges to Recycle4God Freepost address, please package them securely - for example, in a Jiffy Bag.

Toner CartridgesToner Cartridges

  • These cannot be accepted by post. They must be taken to a recycling center.
  • If you have the original packaging, please store the empty toner cartridge in that before recycling it in order to reduce the chances of the cartridge being damaged.
